Milan – Inter Milan coach position has now been transferred from Walter Mazzarri to Roberto Mancini. Substitution coach is expected to be the beginning of the rise of Nerazzurri.
Mazzarri be the last coach of Inter who lost jobs because of failing to bring his team excel. When the new Serie A season runs 11 weeks, the former Napoli coach was dismissed.
Mancini is now back to being the captain of Inter, having once coached the same team in the period 2004-2008. The first challenge for him is present in the form of the derby against AC Milan on Sunday (11/23/2014).
“In football, the change of coach usually has a positive effect. In the last two seasons, we change coaches, players, and even the owner of the club,” said Inter goalkeeper, Samir Handanovic, in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I wish now we had reached a turning point and we can start moving in the right direction,” he said.
Handanovic added, Mancini‘s presence has changed the Inter dressing room atmosphere becomes more positive and energetic.
“I immediately felt that something had changed. There was more enthusiasm and positive things,” said Slovenia‘s goalkeeper.
“What’s wrong with Mazzarri? I do not know, it’s hard to answer,” said Handanovic.
“Other teams are stronger than us and we did not do what we should do. People judge the results, and for Inter a draw as a defeat,” he said.
Inter now occupies the ninth position in the Serie A standings with 16 points. They are 12 points adrift of Juventus who are in the top position.
