Cagliari – AS Roma won 2-1 at the headquarters of Cagliari in Serie A. Upon victory, Rudi Garcia specifically praised the performance of two young players Roma, Daniele Verde and Leandro Paredes.

“Our young players is important today, Verde contributed two assists and Paredes scored,” said the Frenchman.
“Verde already in our squad for a while and I believe him. In addition to speed and technique, today we see him working very hard for the team and hungry for success. That’s how he plays and he had to continue like that.”
“At first he was a little scared, but his debut now is gone and he will be more confident,” said Garcia assured.
