Gervinho: Scudetto It Float

Rome – AS Roma striker, Gervinho, calling his team a chance to win the scudetto this season is over. According to Gervinho, Rome focus now is to secure a ticket to the Champions League next season.

Roma get no maximum set of results in 2015. Roma won only three times in 12 Serie A so far this year. The rest, they were eight draws and one defeat.

Rome is still sitting in second place. However, they are now trailing by 14 points from Juventus sitting atop. They are also just one point ahead of Lazio that are directly below.

Rome opportunities to overtake and become champions Juve arguably not great because of competition with the only remaining 10 games. They are now thinking more about how to keep their positions do not sag.

“We get a lot of draw, and lost in some other games, but we still came in second place,” said Gervinho to Afrique Foot.

“Our opponents do not take advantage of our decline, just as we did not take advantage of Juventus slipped a few times,” he added.

“Our target is to qualify for the Champions League. Scudetto already floated,” said the Ivory Coast international.

“We’re going through hard times because all draw it. But, this is what happened,” said Gervinho.
