Rome – Kevin Strootman is long enough to disappear from circulation due to a knee injury which has not yet recovered. After a three-month absence, Roma midfielder admitted his condition was much better.
After a long absence due to torn ligaments in his knee last season, Strootman could comeback and play for Roma. The first time he grazes after a long absence was in November last year in the match against Torino.
However Strootman comeback did not last long. In January last, the Dutch midfielder had to increase the operating table again because his knee back problems. The match at home to Fiorentina into the last appearance in uniform Strootman Roma in this season.
Strootman now continues to undergo rehabilitation process. The 25-year-old continued to carry out a recovery program at Trigoria to restore its condition.
Three months aside, Strootman admitted his condition has improved. He hopes to soon perform again for the Giallorossi.
“I’m fine, I’m much better,” said Strootman when asked about his condition.
“I worked as hard as possible every day my best to get back as soon as possible. I want to help the team,” he said as quoted by the official website of Rome.
With the season almost over, Strootman predicted will not appear in the rest of the season. Former PSV Eindhoven player was not expected to re-strengthen Roma next season.
