Milan – Massimo Moratti still believes Roberto Mancini is the right coach for Inter Milan. In spite of this until just before the season ended, Inter are still far from the finish in the European zone.
Mancini was appointed to replace the position left Walter Mazzarri in November 2014 ago. At the beginning of his arrival, the Nerazzurri instead received three successive defeats.
Inter had experienced problems of inconsistency before the recent success unbeaten record pace during the last seven games. Including a 2-1 victory over AS Roma, and Lazio by the same score.
However, when the competition stayed three matches Inter are still stranded in the eighth standings with 52 points. La Beneamata still competing with Fiorentina, Sampdoria and Genoa for a spot for the Europa League.
“I am satisfied and very confident Mancini deserves a lot of credit,” said Moratti told Corriere dello Sport reported by Football Italia.
“Our coach is a winner and is doing many things right. I can see how he has built the team, give confidence, and a style of play which is nice.”
“Against Lazio we got a little luck never hurts in football. But three points is still important for our position in the standings,” said the Italian conglomerate.
