Manchester – Manchester United have been so looking forward to appearing in the Champions League next season. ‘Red Devils’ determined to finish their desire to appear in the competition with a clean sweep two Premier League matches remaining.
MU is getting closer to the Champions League next season. They are now in the top four of the Premier League with a value of 68 of the 36 weeks, six points ahead of Liverpool that follow.
With that situation, Manchester United only need one more point to secure the fourth position which is the last ticket –melalui Champions League play-offs. Realistically, they passed Liverpool’s chances in the last two games is also very difficult although the calculations are still open.
With six points, MU rival will only be passed if they are always lost in the last two parties. Plus a large margin notes defeat if Liverpool do not win with a fantastic score.
Whatever the case, Manchester United now just want to finish the season strong. They want to pave the way to the Champions League with two wins, each over Arsenal and Hull City.
“We really missed the Champions League. There is no equivalent to the current European competition night song reverberated Champions League,” said the Manchester United defender Phil Jones on the official club website.
“Just sit and watch the competition this season was disappointing. A team like Manchester United should go there, but we did not get the right freely to get there. We have to perform well.”
“We want to finish the season on a high position in the standings and as best as possible. Hopefully we can finish with two more wins,” he added, as quoted by Soccerway.
